Dyeing and other Stuff

First day of our week. I wanted to get straight into dyeing those skirts I bought yesterday but I did need to spend some time on the Business side of things first.

That out of the way I started packaging up dye as we sold out of the Dye Kits on Sunday. This is a messy, tedious job. Weighing, pouring, labelling and then cleaning up the spills.

Before I knew it I had 1 1/2 hours till home time. I dragged out some threads that didn't meet the grade. There is nothing wrong with the actual thread just the colour. I chose to re dye them in Black and Browns.

My plan is to use them on the Takadai.

Here I'm adding the water to the Soda Ash.

The reflection of the water has altered the colour, its a deeper Rust Brown than it looks.

Now I just have to go and clean up the mess before finishing for the day.
