The fabric has all been predyed before printing.
I've also been playing around with squeezing the thickened dye out of a bottle. I've been using the left over thickened dye from the printing. Still not happy with the result. I don't seem to be able to control the flow rate. I'll keep trying. I've just bought a different squeeze bottle that might help.
I'm also trying to be more disciplined with the fabric once I've finshed dyeing and heat setting. Instead of being in a hurry to continuing dyeing I'm ironing the fabrics as I go. These have all been hand printed and are ready for sale.
When rolling the thickened dye onto print blocks remove your coffee cup. I didn't take a shot of the inside. Needless to say I didn't drink it.
This is a piece of dyed paper towel. Sometimes you get a piece that shows real potential.
This is the same piece, I used the "flower" setting on the camera. I've never used it before and wanted to see what it did.
