Alan did his apprenticeship in Chester so we decided it would be a great place to start our ‘holiday’. We dropped off our bags and went for a walk to et our bearings.
The River Dee. The sun was in and out but that didn’t stop me getting a little burnt.
We had lunch at the Boathouse, Alan remembered this place from when he was last here.
After lunch we walked back into town. These shops are called The Rows. Apparently they are quite unique to Chester.
Alan remembers coming to Chester once a year and getting into trouble for standing up here; didn’t seem to bother him this time. He was actually filming a ‘signing’ choir. It was amazing.
