Scarf Skirt

Try saying that 3 times real fast.

I started this skirt last week. It's made out of scarves I liberated from Alan's Aunt.

I used a skirt pattern that I already owned. I cut through the pattern to create the skirt pieces. You just have to remember to add seam allownance to any cut edge.
Last week I was using the overlocker to sew the pieces together. When it came to creating the buttonholes I just didn't have enough brain power left to switch machines. Before I could think of anything else I'd rather be doing today I put up the sewing machine and did the 2 buttonholes on my skirt. Then neatened the hem edge. I haven't got the cord for the waistband yet but you can get the general idea of the finished skirt.
Its funny, these are not my usual colours however I will be able to wear my new Kumihimo necklace with it.
