'In the Shadows of Mt Tibrogargan' is an exhibition by Redcliffe based artist, Gabi McNaughton. ‘In the Shadows of Mt Tibrogargan’, is an extension of a continued obsession I have in exploring the Australian native flora in its natural state. Not only does the tranquilly, stillness, symmetry and beauty of this particular landscape transfix me, but I am constantly reminded, what the traditional owners of this land ‘The Kabi Kabi’ (Gubbi Gubbi) people have known for thousands of years, just how perfect the balance of nature under this magical mountain is,’ States Gabi. Gabi really hopes locals come and visit her exhibition, “It would be nice, as I feel that what is on our doorstep, (the Glass House Mountains National Park) is very much worth protecting.” You can enjoy 'In the Shadows of Mt Tibrogargan' at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery, 4 Hasking St. Caboolture from the 20th July - 19th August.
