Takadai Braid Finished

I'm doing the little happy dance. My latest Takadai Braid is finished.








I've used every last inch of the silk.

Before running a thin line of PVA glue across the end. Once it dried I removed the braid from the tama and the takadai.

Here it is all finished. Not sure yet what I will do with it. My Kumhimo Headbands have been very popular but it is long enough for a belt. The threads for my next braid are dyed. They will need warping before I start braiding so I better get to it.
