Another Plate Braid

I have been braiding again. This time on the Flat Kumihimo Plate.

These are the starting position of the the threads. I've finished the braid. I'm now adding a beaded fringe. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be able to show you the photos of the finished braid.

Good heavens, it looks so complicated! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished braid.

Seriously Robyn it's so uncomplicated. I'm not even going to try and explain the steps here but you are basically repeating the same 3 steps until you reach the required length. I can do it while talking to customers. But then again I can talk and do most things.

Hello, I have started working on my kumihimo flat braid and i have been having problems. I started looking online for help and your site is the only one that has the exact number of strings i am using and the desired look for the bracelet. But when i try making it i get this hole in the center of the bracelet. Please write the 3 steps down for me so that my bracelet can look as good as yours, im doing something wrong and i need your help. Thank you!

I've been looking everywhere for instructions to do a large flat braid & this post was the first I found that I think will help. I've ordered your square plate & I really hope you can help me figure it out. I would love to see this braid finished. You've inspired me.
