Gallery 159 will be holding it last exhibition for the year from November 9th. Botanica Erotica is an exhibition of sensuous work based on botanical forms. The exhibition features Artists Books and freely knitted silk textiles by artist Estelle Virgen. Estelle has also included some amusing photography. When you look closely at the detail of the prints you may be surprised to find yourself blushing. The second artist is Helen Peake. Helen creates small seductive sculptural forms developed from petals and pods found in our Rain Forests. Helen hand models, casts, carves and burnishes in resin, silver and gold foils.

Gallery 159 is at 159 Payne Road, The Gap, Brisbane. For more information please ph Janet De Boer on 33006491.
