Hand Dyed Top

I've been sewing. I can't remember the last time I actually bought a pattern, traced it off, cut it out and sewed it up.

The piece of fabric is one I dyed to sell. When I ironed it I noticed a small hole in the fabric. I obviously couldn't sell it like that But I could place pattern pieces to avoid it. Wasn't I lucky that the fabric wasn't pink.

This is the front of the top. Its Simplicity 4220.

And this is the back.

I really enjoyed sewing again. I started a skirt straight after. Everything was going to plan until I got to the buttonholes. I wasn't going to push my luck for one day. I'll finish it another time.
