An Apple a Day

No dyeing today. We had yukky water for most of the morning. I'm not sure if you can see it in the image but it was 'milky'. Apparently the Fire Brigade had turned off the water earlier in the week and this was the result.

I renamed today ' Packaging Day'. Note how I'm trying to make it sound exciting.
I packaged up some more Dye Kits.
And did a heap of Stitchery Kits and Cross Stitch Charts. I'm off the Handmade Expo in Ipswich on Saturday so they won't go astray.
And now to the aforementioned apple. When I had finished filling up the dye bottles I swept up the bench with a dustpan and brush. I deposited it into the rubbish bin. At lunch I had an apple then tossed it into the bin. A little while later I threw something else into the rubbish and noticed the apple core. It had soaked up the dye. The pretty little spots of dye were allover it, not just on the face down side. Couldn't repeat this if I tried.
